Do Not Let These Doctors Operate on You

Did you know that there are more than 900,000 doctors and surgeons in the U.S. alone?   More shocking is most states and countries don't regulate how physicians advertise themselves.

Which means just about any doctor can legally perform a labiaplasty/vaginal rejuvenation regardless of their actual training.

Nobody is checking to make sure they are qualified.  No group responsible for overseeing these doctors or verifying their credentials.

So how do you know if your doctor is truly qualified?  Or trust you are in good hands?

After Your Surgery is the Wrong Time To Qualify Your Doctor

I have seen way too many women AFTER they let the WRONG surgeon operate on them.  Botched surgeries are traumatic, painful and even permanent.

Once your labia has been removed or your vaginal canal cut short, there is no going back!

Which is why I can never stress enough the importance of being selective when choosing a doctor that will perform ANY surgery on you (much less one in such a sensitive area).

Doctors To Avoid

You should avoid a doctor that minimizes the significance of the surgery, "oh sure, I do these all the time".  Especially when they can not provide you with before and after pictures of their actual patients.

You should avoid any doctor that has no specialized training or one that does not perform these surgeries frequently.

If your gynecologist says they can do a labiaplasty because they "operate down there all the time", definitely verify what that means.

Unfortunately, most of the botched labia reductions I see come from regular gynecologists!

Just because they have been your gyn for 15 years, does not mean they have automatically received the necessary training for these procedures.  Please trust me on that.

This is your body and any surgery has risk.

The greatest risk you run in having labiaplasty or vaginal rejuvenation is putting yourself in the hands of an inexperienced, untrained surgeon.  Having worked with some of the best doctors in this industry, I have seen both sides of that coin.

Remember there is danger in crossing the street.  However, once you know how to do it, what to look for and when to go, that danger is almost non-existent.

It literally took me years to come up with criteria for evaluating vaginal surgery doctors.
