My Visit in Atlanta with Dr. Miklos & Dr. Moore

In my commitment to bringing you everything you ever wanted to know about vaginal rejuvenation and labiaplasty, I recently accepted a special invitation.

It was a unique opportunity to visit two of the most well-known vaginal rejuvenation experts behind the scenes!

Dr. Miklos and Dr. Moore have been specializing in vaginal reconstructive surgery for more than 15 years and are known globally for their work.

Needless to say the trip was informative and very eye-opening!

My first day there, I visited their office, met and spoke with a warm staff and sat in on actual patient consultations with the doctors.

The following day was spent in the operating room.  From 7am to 4pm we were in back to back surgery.

It was amazing to watch them in action!

The procedures ranged from bladder suspension patients, to labia minora and majora reductions, to vaginal tightening and vaginal reconstruction.  An assortment of surgeries that all went down without a hitch.  :-)

However, all I could think about standing in those operating rooms was how vulnerable we as women are in these procedures and how sometimes we trust just anybody.

I was watching some exceptional surgeons, but imagine the woman that has chosen a doctor based on price or insurance and NOT skill or experience.

Not only do we expose ourselves to shoddy work and botched results, but we literally put our lives in their hands!

The best surgeons have learned how to perfect their craft through operating on plenty of patients.  Experience is not just technique, it is about knowing what to do and what NOT to do.

It is about avoiding stitching it too tight or too loose.

It is about not practicing on YOU.

You deserve the best and I am here to help you find it!  You owe it to yourself.

If you have questions about Dr. Miklos and Dr. Moore or any doctor for that matter, ask me.

P.S.

A BIG Thank You to Drs. Miklos & Moore for giving me an inside look at their practice.  The generosity with their time, knowledge and wisdom is greatly appreciated!

I have been trying to get an appt. with Dr. Miklos since Oct 2011 to try to fix my mesh injuries and remove it . I have done all they asked, sent my insurance, records,ct scan. Is it normal to have to wait this long? My injuries are bad and getting worse every day that passes. If I dare call I am told that they have thousands of patients and just to keep waiting. I have never been treated in such a rude and dimmissive way .I am ready to give up!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Bea,

Thank you for contacting me. Though this does not sound typical of their patient care or staff, I appreciate you sharing. And am sure they do too.

Are you a current patient of theirs (i.e. they performed sling surgery or other doc and you want them to remove it)?

I reached out to their office manager on your behalf and she could not locate your information. Only had "Bea" as the name to provide her. smilies/shocked.gif She asked for you to please call her directly. Her name is Mindy and her direct number is (770) 475-1186.

Let me know how it goes!

Best wishes,

Vanessa

Hi Vanessa,
I just wanted to say thanks. Because of you I was able to speak with Mindy who was so kind and went out of her way to arrange everything for me. Mindy explained that some of my info was misplaced and that was the reason for the delay. I have an appointment and finally will be able to get the help I need. Again all this was because of your intervention on my behalf, you are wonderful!
Best wishes,
Bea

Glad to hear you ladies were able to figure out what was going on.

I appreciate your sweet words and as much as I want to take all the credit smilies/wink.gif, the doctors do have a great team.
