Recently in a study posted by the International Journal of Gynecology Obstetrics a study was published revealing that nearly 100% of the women surveyed were very satisfied with their labiaplasty results.
According to the study the female participants ranged in ages 10-55 and conditions varied from hypertrophy (large/increased size) with function issues and uneven labia. The women were interviewed 60 days after their labiaplasty and the consensus was pretty unanimous.
So what were the results?
91% of the women were VERY satisfied with their newly modified labia, while the other 9% were satisfied. Out of all the women that participated in the study, none indicated any dissatisfaction.
Now does this mean every woman that has ever had a labiaplasty always has this level of satisfaction? Clearly not.
However, after personally working for one of the most experienced laser vaginal rejuvenation/labiaplasty surgeons in the world, I can say that it does seem to be the norm.
Most women that undergo this type of procedure generally tend to suffer from highly uncomfortable pain, embarrassment and hygiene issues associated with abnormally large or uneven labia. And after years of this emotional and physical pain, they feel a sudden relief immediately after the procedure.
Ultimately this study serves to remind any and all that doubt the merits and benefits of these medical advancements.
Is a labiaplasty for everyone? Of course not. But it has helped many woman seeking to improve the quality of her life and the function or appearance of her body. The alternatives are available and the choice is yours!
