Labiaplasty Cost

How Much Does Labiaplasty Cost?

A labiaplasty surgery can vary in cost.  But unlike other surgeries, can be a pretty straight forward procedure.

And for most women price isn't nearly as important as doctor and possible risks.

Reasons for getting it done usually is because length of the labia is causing hygiene issues or pain and discomfort with everyday activities like walking, exercise or even sexual intercourse.

Find out if you are a Candidate for Labiaplasty.

Whether you want a labia reduction to help you feel or look better, here are a few things to know.

3 Factors to Labiaplasty Cost?

The cost of Labiaplasty will primarily depend on a three factors.

First of all, what procedure are you having done?  A labia majora reduction, minora reduction, or both?  The majora may actually cost a little bit less than the minora.

Secondly, the price of labiaplasty will vary depending on the type of surgical instrument your doctor uses (either a laser or scalpel).  Expect to pay slightly more for the laser.

Finally, the surgeon you choose will also impact the price.  Obviously the better skilled the doctor, and more in demand they are, the more  you may pay.

In the U.S., the average labia reduction cost is between $3,000 - $10,000 (USD).  $3,000 being closer to the cost of a reduction with scalpel or under local anesthesia.  $10,000 would be for a combination procedure with a laser.

Labiaplasty is not usually covered by insurance.

Make sure to discuss cost with your surgeon to see what the price includes. Some doctors include "other" fees for things such as exams, facility fees and/or anesthesia fees.

Also, I would recommend against bargain hunting when looking for a surgeon.  I have seen far too many women come into my office with a horror story from a previous good deal.

Enough women have contacted me AFTER they made the wrong choice.  And for some it was too late.

Your body is an area you do not want to be "cheap" with.

You deserve to find the best and most qualified surgeon. Do your research and selective.

Trust me, you will be glad you did!

Need help or have questions, let me know.
