Labiaplasty Price Range

The price range of a labia reduction or labiaplasty can vary.

A lot of women I talk to think that all doctors are equal and that everyone charges the same price and provides the same quality of work.

These days, there are more and more women wanting these procedures.  And consequently, there are more and more doctors providing these services.  Which means the experience of the doctor and their fees will definitely have a broad range.

The tool and technique the doctor uses may also have an impact on the bottom line.  Doctors that user a laser may charge more.  Or doctors with less experience may charge less.

Ask questions and decide what is most important to you.

No different than jewelry or diamonds, the better the quality and craftsmanship, the higher the doctor's fees or going rate.

3 key factors to labiaplasty cost.

Another important detail that will determine the price you pay for a labiaplasty will have to do with which labia is being reduced.

Some doctors charge less for a Labia Majora (larger outer lips) reduction, while others charge more for it than a Labia Minora reduction.

Know which one you are interested in and find out which one will benefit you most!

Generally the price for a Labiaplasty can range between $2,000-$7,000 USD.

Usually, insurance will not cover labiaplasty costs.

Ask your doctor what is included in fee.  Not all bundle fees together.  The anesthesia, facility, etc. can be charged separately.

Remember the cheapest doctor you find, is not always the best.

I'm not saying you can't get a good deal.  Just make sure your doctor is qualified to be working on your most sensitive parts!

After all, you don't want to be another one of the labiaplasty horror stories.

Do not forget, you can always ask me for advice.  :-)

Well, I have been considering labiaplasty for awhile now but after reading all the horror stories, I am now scared out of my mind! I already have a plastic surgeon but he doesn't do this surgery and I can't find any in the Salem, OR area who are qualified?

Hi Stacy,

Thank you for the comment. And though this information is not intended to scare you "out of your mind", I am glad it has made you more cautious. In the end, there are some great docs and many success stories out there. However, there are a lot of not so amazing doctors out there too.

And if you are not aware of that, then you may fall victim to that lack of knowledge.

Here are some questions that may be helpful for you to ask a doctor you meet with for labiaplasty. http://vaginal-surgery.info/bl...octor.html

Regardless of what you decide, if you do your research and are selective with the surgeon you allow to operate on you, then you can avoid those "horror stories". smilies/wink.gif

With that said let me know what other questions you have for me.

Best wishes,

Vanessa
