Recovering from Vaginal Rejuvenation Surgery
Tuesday, 02 March 2010 03:56

Women often wonder ask me what the recovery time for vaginal rejuvenation is.  Most would be surprised to know that it can vary.  Some doctors say you can resume normal every day activities after 6 weeks, while others say to wait 8-10 weeks.

The doctor I worked with had her patients wait 8 weeks before they had sex.  Other activities like exercising, swimming, lifting anything over 10 pounds was generally resumed after 4-6 weeks just depending on the woman.

In my opinion and from my experience, the women that followed instructions to a T and waited the longest, always had the best results.  They felt that they wanted to heal quickly and be back to their normal life, but their healing was always most important.

One thing any woman considering vaginal rejuvenation should know is, even if you feel you are healed externally, keep in mind that you cannot see what your body looks like internally.

So if you jump the gun and start exercising or having sex before you’re supposed to, results may be affected and your actual recovery time will only be prolonged!

If you ask me, you and your body are worth delaying or abstaining from these normal activities for a couple of months.  Besides you are going to be making or have made an investment in yourself and your body, why not ensure you get the best results.

After all, you are worth it!
