According to this article from the LA Times, Mario López has joined the cast of Nip/Tuck as a vaginal rejuvenation surgeon.

From the article:

"...and there's a super-hot new doc played by Mario López whom McNamara and Troy bring onboard to rev up the practice via vaginal rejuvenation. (Which is supposed to be funny. I think.)"

Well I wasn't sure what "supposed to be funny" meant, until I found the following clip on YouTube.

Funny?  That is just ridiculous.

If it is supposed to be a commercial, why are all the doctors laughing the entire time.  This is a procedure that women take seriously.

And they've created their own term for the procedure, "vaginal uplift".

But in my mind, there is no such thing as bad publicity.

They did get many of the benefits of the surgery correct.

And even a poor attempt at humor like this will help raise awareness of the vaginal rejuvenation procedure.
