Anesthesia Used in Vaginal Rejuvenation & Labiaplasty

As a vaginal rejuvenation consultant, I have had the opportunity of working with different surgeons and doctors and learned that not all of them follow the same codes.  Anesthesia Vaginal Rejuvenation Labiaplasty

What I mean, is that doctors have different procedures.

Not only will they vary by experience, specialty, tool (Scalpel vs Laser), etc., they can even vary in anesthesia.  So it's good to know that you have a choice of the type of anesthesia your doctor will use when considering vaginal rejuvenation or labiaplasty.

If you prefer a local anesthetic over a general, that is something your doctor should be able to accommodate.  A local anesthesia (patient is coherent, but numb) may prove to be a cheaper alternative.  Or if you are wanting to have general over local that should also be available to you as well.  Simply ask.

Some doctors choose local because it is more affordable for them and the patient, while others prefer general to minimize any body jerking or movement during the procedure.  Either option should provide excellent results in the hands of an experienced surgeon.

One of the surgeons I worked with required extensive testing for all patients 40 years of age (and over) when using general anesthetic.

For best results and options, seek an expert in vaginal rejuvenation or labiaplasty and know all the details.  Arm yourself with knowledge and ask lots of questions.
